This section is to notify customers about Columbia Gas of Maryland's major infrastructure upgrade construction projects. Smaller maintanence projects may not be posted. Please continue to check back for new construction projects, as well as updates on exisitng projects.

- Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m to 4 p.m.
- What
- Replacement and upgrade of 6,150 feet of steel pipe, both gas main line and customer service lines
- Details
- Project will impact nearly 100 residential customers. Approximately 90 customers will receive new customer service lines at no charge; and 30 customers will have their inside gas meters moved outside.
- For the first 4-6 weeks, only local residents and emergency vehicles will be permitted to use Parkersburg Road Southwest during working hours. The road will be closed to additional thru traffic during working hours and will be detoured via Porter Road Northwest.
- With minimum 72-hour prior notification, customers' gas service will be turned off one at a time for several hours in order to connect to the new gas main line.
- Columbia Gas will perform re-light work at no charge to the customer.
