 Across the Columbia Gas of Maryland service territory, employees regularly take part in United Way Day of Caring volunteer events. Columbia Gas employees come together with fellow community members to work on various volunteer projects aimed at improving and beautifying the neighborhoods where we work and live.

At Columbia Gas of Maryland we are committed to economic growth, social responsibility and environmental stewardship. As a part of that commitment, we partner with non-profits in our community like Antietam Creek Watershed Alliance – organizations that help to protect, conserve and celebrate the environment.

Columbia Gas of Maryland is a long-time supporter of the Washington County Community Action Council, a non-profit that much like Columbia Gas is committed to ensuring safety and availability of essential resources for everyone living in the community.
2014 Bowl CMD Kids
Columbia Gas of Maryland employees are active supporters of the Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser organized by Big Brothers Big Sisters. These critical funds enable Big Brothers Big Sisters to positively influence the lives of children by providing quality-mentoring programs.
